lucky Barbie

Last month I ordered a few Barbie dresses on Etsy from sewgrandmacathy for my daughter. She loved them, so I asked Cathy if she would custom create more dresses in some of my daughter's favorite fabrics for a Valentine's Day gift. And I admit, what I ordered last month was supposed to be a Valentine's Day gift, but they were so cute I couldn't help but give them to her earlier. :)

Look how adorable the custom order turned out! I can't wait to get them in the mail. Cathy was so sweet to work with, and her attention to detail is amazing. Her creations are so much easier for my daughter to play with than any of the store-bought clothing she owns. Thank you Cathy!

I am a sucker for all things Sweet Spice, so when Shannon asked me to whip up some popsicle washcloths for a new set, I happily got sewing. Who could resist such cuteness?

Colby's new favorite ornament!

Look what my mailman brought me today! I asked my good friend Tray of Tray's Clay Things and Other Stuff to create a mermaid ornament for my daughter for Christmas. She is über-talented and her attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. The pictures don't do the sweet little mermaid justice.



Her mermaid fin is wrapped around a heart-shaped pink tree ornament and she's holding a pretty silver sand dollar. She's perfectly pink, super-sparkly, and my daughter loves her!
